The meeting\u2019<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">s sessions cover a wide range of topics, including atmosphere, climate, as well as energy and resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">MOPRAM will partecipate to the conference with two different oral contributes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em><strong>&#8220;Calculating the hydrological response of a mountain catchment using conventional and unconventional (CML) rainfall observations: the case study of Mallero catchment &#8220;, speaker: Greta Cazzaniga<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8220;Rainfall estimate using Commercial Microwave Links (CML): firstoutcomes of the MOPRAM project&#8221;, speaker: Roberto Nebuloni.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1210 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine2-300x172.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"469\" height=\"269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine2-300x172.png 300w, https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine2-768x440.png 768w, https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine2.png 790w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 469px) 100vw, 469px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #0000ff;\"><strong>CELLENMON 2020<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The use of CML&#8217;s measurements as opportunistic rainfall sensors is a new methodology currently studied and applied by various research groups from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Last year that community met for the first time in Garmisch: we spent a beautiful and useful week knowing each other, sharing the results of the researches and comparing the different techniques and algorithms (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mopram.it\/symposium-on-the-hydrometeorological-usage-of-data-from-commercial-microwave-link-networks-2\/\">see our article there<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We are glad to announce that this year this newborn community will meet again in <strong>Tel Aviv<\/strong> University for a Conference meeting on<strong> Cellular Environmental Monitoring<\/strong> with researchers and stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mopram will partecipate with an oral contribution showing the results of hydrological modelling with real data CML&#8217;s measurement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>&#8220;Hydrological application of opportunistic rainfall observations by CMLs in a mountain catchment: firstoutcomes of the MOPRAM project&#8221;, speaker: Cristina Deidda.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1199 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine-300x137.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine-300x137.png 300w, https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine-1024x468.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine-768x351.png 768w, https:\/\/www.mopram.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Immagine.png 1072w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 545px) 100vw, 545px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EGU- European Geosciences Union The European Geosciences Union (EGU) is the leading organisation for Earth, planetary and space science research in Europe.
